Chaska, Minn - Team TigerTown took their fifth loss in a row as the Chaska Cubs rallied late to down the Tigers 4-3 at a mosquito infested Chaska Park. The Tigers are now 2-9 overall and 1-4 in the Carver Central.

The Tigers opened up a 1-0 lead in the first after Dan Huber used his speed to reach on an infield hit, then stole second, and eventually scored from there. When asked to comment on this trip around the bases after he returned to the dugout Huber was quoted as saying: “Deep Breathes… Deep Breathes…180 feet is a long ways to run.”

The Cubs came back to tie the game at one in the bottom of the first and took the lead in the third with another run. The Tigers responded with a run in the fourth and the fifth to hold a 3-2 lead, but the Cubs came back to tie the game at three in the sixth.

The Cubs delivered the deathblow in the bottom of the eighth as they scored the game winning run with two outs. With a runner on second, Huber had his pitch hit to short, where the shortstop fumbled the ball and had to rush his throw. The toss to first was snagged be the towering first baseman know to all as Zip, but fell from his glove when hit by the base runner, leaving him safe and scoring the runner from second.

Jon Schulz takes the loss in both the game and the online poll as he drops to 0-4. DanWeldon and Zip Zellman both went 2 for 4 with Weldon hitting a double and Zellman scoring a run.
